Born and raised in Rochdale Village, Queens, Tier’a V. Berry has always carried the heartbeat of New York and the spirit of community in everything she does. Her journey began with a passion for youth, families, and storytelling—but life quickly revealed a purpose far greater than she imagined.

Starting her career in a Bronx community program, Tier’a discovered her calling as a leader, mentor, and advocate. Over 15 years in youth development shaped her into a pillar of strength and compassion, deeply rooted in service.

When life shifted—bringing job loss, heartbreak, and the challenge of rebuilding—Tier’a refused to fold.In 2023, she began her writing journey with The Diamond Writers, a powerful sisterhood that helped her reclaim her identity and embrace her purpose. She contributed to two of their inspiring anthology She Is and Audacity.

Her story didn’t stop there.

Guided by resilience and faith, she stepped boldly into digital marketing and creative branding, as Lead Creative & Branding with The Diamond Writers for a year and quickly recognized a hobby as a skill. 

Instead, she rose.

Tier’a started her own business, Tier'a's Voyage Llc. She took becoming an author, public speaker, and Epilepsy Awareness Advocate more serious. Taking the opportunity to use her voice to empower families like her own. She also designs and publishes multipurpose journals to support everyday healing, reflection, and growth.

Today, Tier’a stands confidently in her calling—empowering communities, uplifting women, and turning her story into a source of hope for others.
